looong POST

I CANT BREATHE! so busi wiv sku work..cca,projects,mtgs..
haven updated my blog for 2 whole week! hahas..finally a time to reflect in blog!

last last saturday was great! it was my grandfather birthday! my ah gong is 70 now! so fast.. i dun wan my ah ma ah gong grow old..i love them alot and i dun wan them to be old! my ah ma is turning 63 this yr. as usual, we went to book 2 tables at the coffee shop. its so fun to gather with all my family members. =]

my uncle so funi! to save some cost, instead of ordering drinks at the coffee shop dat is sold at $1+, he bought can drinks (50cents each ) in bulk at a convenient store nearby and hide it under our tables..! so when the drink server is not there, we will just take out 1 can drink and put on out table to make it seems dat we ordered frm them. cus we r not allowed to bring in outside drinks LOL.. gosh, we almost forget that some brands of the drinks r not sold at the coffeeshop, so we look arnd other tables to see wad brand of drinks they had ordered. then we realise they onli sell seasons and F and N brand instead of yeos, so we pour our drink into the cups and throw back the cans into our plastic bag. SO FUNNI!! it was the fun of the hiding of cans dat i enjoyed,instead of the satisfaction dat i get from the drink surprisingly!

took alot of pics wiv my ah ma and ah gong dat day..and we bought a fishing rod for ah gong as birthday gift. he seems to like it alot! and the next day, joyjoy begged
ah gong to bring him to go fishing ,as my mom also bought a beginner fishing rod for her too =D

after eating dinner, we went back to grandpa's hse to chat and took more pics!

The next day, sunday, i woke up at 7am plus to meet up with church members to go and do community work and serve the elderly at tiong bahru CC, as there is a health screening project there. its quite enjoyable actualli. i enjoyed chatting with them. i tink i realli like to do it n hope to do it more often! even if i cant help them much, but i want them to feel that they are not alone. alot of them have families and i pray that their families don't neglect their needs, as i dun see alot of people accompanying their mother or grandmother down to take the health test.. =/

the whole of my weekdays were spent in school as usual, ccas trainings, staying back for projects, studying, lectures, tutorials, homework.. i am so disappointed in myself for sleeping so much.. i cant control myself but to sleep and neglect my homework and revision! however i did study for my test.. but realli last minute.. failed econs test,geog surprise test! T.T awfully sad... i realise i have to change, and for my last test dat i took, i took 2 and a half hours to revise. pray that i will at least score 75% for it! I PRAY THAT I CAN SURVIVE WITH LESS SLEEP,AND REVISE MORE! hahas!

last sat, instead of studying, i decided to take a break to breathe some fresh air after completing my projects.. but still hav alot of assignments to do and lots of lecture notes to revise before lesson! anyway, went to sizzler with my mom and sisters to enjoy buffet! yea.. i love sizzler and swensens! cus i love buffets alot! took some pics wiv my sistas and mom. everytime my mom take photo wiv us, she look like our big sister, dun look like our mother! lols! (proud dat my mom is so young!}

den my papa found out and caught her red handed! hahas.. and he laughs..( ps: my dad veri fit right! so proud of him dat he realise his dream of becoming a california gym instructor!)

finally now i cn talk about my most recent week, which is this week..!

this recent tues, sth worthy to be happy about took place! my mom bought a bunny for joyjoy! now our family has an extra member! yeah! we had always wanted another younger sister or younger brother, but my mom factory closed (ligation)... my mom love baby alot, and my dad like animal too. so i tink getting a bunny is sth we all rejoiced about! esp joy! she love small and cute animals! at first we wanted to get a puppy seriously,but after much consideration, we bought a bunny instead. not that it is much cheaper, it is that we cant take care and train the puppy often as our whole family will be out working and studying in the afternoon. bunny is much convenient as we need not spend as much time on it compared to a puppy.

today is the 5th day that our new family member jus moved in with us.. we still loved it alot. everyday i come home, it will jus jump up to the front of it's cage and look at me with those big and sparkling eyes! as though it is greeting me and welcoming me back home. hahs! whenever i see it looking at me,i stroke its head and saiyung it. so cute! its so small!

my mom treat the bunny very good! she every night rch home,1st thing she do is say " baby! mommy come home alrdy!" my mom will jus carry the bunny up and start to clear the cage and add some food for it. she will then talk to it and stroke it.. so sweet right? sometimes she will say " see , da jie is here.. " to the bunny. (ps; da jie is me) my mom loves the bunny alot, she's not the only one who talks to the bunny, everyone in the house does except my papa. he is a kinda shy person.. when my mom first time ask my dad to carry the bunny, my dad say that he don't want. but deep down, i know he wants to carry it very much as he loves cats and animals. so my mom just squeezed the bunny into my dad arms and let my dad try carrying it even though he says "no'! lols!

i can tell that my dad likes the feeling of stroking it.. hahas, he seems to care for the bunny too! he even thought of making a wire gauze in the cage for convenience of my mom clearing the bunny's waste. haahs!

the rest of this recent week i didnt did much.. so not much to talk about.. oh yea! my leg is still sore, but i am glad dat i am getting use to the sore! i had made up my mind to perservere on for running even though im not improving very fast. i will try my best! this wed during training did some run around the hall when it rain for 30 mins..i ran really really slow..hope to catch up soon. thurs we had pe, which means running again.. ran for 1.6km arnd our sku nearby "teletubby hill" and took timing, after dat did some shuttle runs. friday ran alttle again for house mtg.

our tchr in charge allow us to play the ODAC game! so cool.. its a container, and we are suppose to wear helmet and go into the container and find our way out. its realli dark in there dat i cant even see my hands even if i put it infront of my eyes. it was like im blind! inside was the container were made of conrete and stoney surroundings. we were made to crawl and climb as the hole was too small for us to stand to find out way out of the container trap. there were cc tv inside to monitor us! so hot inside, but realli fun! like OBS like dat! i hold on to shu rou and rachel lead the way out as she was the first to get in. there were some traps in there! if we drop in one of the hole, we will lost our way and have to climb back up again blindly.. its fun! so i did it the second time, and this time i know the way so i feel my way thru and lead jasree as she is playing it for the 1st time. had great fun in the small and dark container!

yeah! saturday which is today, i went for TRYATHLON! my time has come! i hav long waited for this! i woke up at arnd 5 plus this morning and went off to meet my frens and went tgt to sentosa. on the way, saw alot..i meant ALOT of ppl hu r wear
ing the milo tee for the triathlon. woah..so mani ppl woke up as earli as we did to get rdy!

we took some pics and rushed off to pick up our rented bike and park it at the picking up point. we forgot to print our E-ticket to claim our bikes so we did not know wad to do.. thx God, the person in charge keyed in our data record for our sku and recognized that we did placed a rental for the bikes so we do no t need to present our E-ticket to claim bikes! hahs! took pics wiv everyone from individual category before we start swimming. everyone in swimming suits. =] i know we look really weird and not very groomed up.we didnt realli care about our appearance then as we know that in the end our hair is gonna be in a mess after wearing the swimming cap!

due to the rain and contrast of the camera, the pic taken were all so brightly contrasted. looks like we were in a jungle rite?!

when we rch sentosa, its alrdy raining quite heavily..and while claiming our bike, its drizzling heavily..woah, everyone were wet even before the swim.. den we got rdy and change. then pei qi and qi min realise the bike were too high for them to cycle! oh yar, we were the 2nd batch to set off for our triathlon as each time there can onli be up to 30 ppl setting off. i do not noe how to swim freestyle so i did frogstyle and made my way thru the sea to the shore. i was panting, but lucki only 300m which was quite short and fast. at first i couldint touch the ground and started panickin, luckily one of the J2 guy dat i just knew, joseph,accompany me on my way thru, so that i can hold on to him if i felt i cant touch the shallow bed of the sea. my mom was right! i cant swim dat well! so i ke pt to the shore.

in the end i lost joseph! i didnt know he was behind me all the way. on my way swimming, i started talking to one guy which i thought was joseph! so akward when he ask mi for my name and i realise he was not joseph! lols so i was following the wrong person, but gladly i increase my speed and tried to squard and walk when i was at the shallower sea.. hahs! such a joke dat i end up following the wrong person! (cus i was not wearing my spects).

after arriving at the shore, i looked behind to look for my friends but i cant see them so i ran and continued. i changed into my running shoes and then put on the milo jersey. finally was i allowed to take off the ugly swimming cap.. only after i changed, my friends just arrived at the bike pick up point. i decided to wait for them.. after they started pushing their bike out, i started pushing my bike too, to the peddling point.

upon rching the peddling point, i jumped on to my bike and put on the helmet and set my way off peddling. i could feel the wind blowing against my way! it felt great! so i started increasing my speed. it was great.. den i realise i have to cycle for 3 laps total of 12km! aniway, it better than running.. i enjoyed the cycling part.

finally i finished my 12 km and began to embark on my 3 km run.. woah, the 3 km seems longer than that! it felt like 5km.. i ran for 3 laps.. and den boom! i sprint alitle towards the end. peiqi was before me 1 or 2 secs, then qi min and joseph managed to finally finished it too! yeah grats to everyone hu completed the triathlon! xD HAHAS!

a wonderful experience! GUESS WAD! EVERYONE GET A MEDAL FOR COMPLETING THE TRIATHLON! AND THE MEDAL IS.......

THIS TIN OF MILO POWDER! laughoutloud! can u see the silver winner small badge printed over there? quite creative..indeed they saved alot of money to award us with real medals! when my papa saw thetin of milo, he asked " hu put this here hah?" lols, he thought i brought my house milo tin and put it on the table instead of the kitchen.. o i explain to him dat this was my medal lols! he laughed and say, "bo iao ah, canot go and buy ur own tin meh, why must got for the triathlon!" hahs! he then ask me how i did for the running, swimming and cycling. xD

yeah! another number tag to collect! my 13th!
